Dr. Milstein is an experienced LASIK Surgeon in Houston and one of the first eye surgeons to perform LASIK in Houston. He is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical Branch and is the Director of the Ophthalmic Laser where he performs Laser Eye Surgery in Houston including LASIK in Houston, Custom Wavefront Lasik & other types of Lasik Eye Surgery in Houston. He is also a Founder of The Eye Clinic of Texas that has grown to serve the eyecare needs of greater Houston. He is one of the original Food and Drug Administration (FDA) investigators of the Excimer Laser for Laser Eye Surgery to correct nearsightedness and has more than 15 years of experience performing Laser Eye Surgery in Texas including LASIK and other specialized types of Lasik Eye Surgery. In addition to being past President of the Texas Ophthalmological Association, Dr. Milstein is active in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and numerous civic organizations. He is on the Development Board at the University of Texas Medical Branch and has served on the Board of Visitors at Texas A & M. As founder of Prevent Blindness Texas Gulf Coast Branch, he currently serves on its Board of Directors. Dr Milstein received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also the founder of The Eye Clinic of Texas and is listed in The Best Doctors in America book.

Da-Thuy Van, D.O. provides LASIK in Houston at the Eye Clinic of Texas. Dr. Van is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and LASIK surgeon in Texas. She earned her Medical Degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she served as president of the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honors Society. Dr. Van completed her Residency in Ophthalmology at Doctor's Hospital an affiliate of the Ohio State University Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at Doctor's Hospital from 2000-2001. In addition to being an experienced LASIK surgeon in Houston, Dr. Van is also skilled in Cataract Surgery and Lens Inplants including presbyopia correcting multifocal lens implants such as the ReSTOR Lens, as well as diagnosis, medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma and eyelid surgery including blepharoplasty. Dr. Van is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Van is fluent in Vietnamese. Besides her daily workload as an eye physician and eye surgeon in Texas, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and two children in Houston.
